You can help reunite families. It is scary when children, the elderly, and even the able-bodied get lost in the woods or their own communities. When it happens, families fear for the safety of their loved ones. By donating to Western Maryland K-9 Search and Rescue, Inc., you can help ensure lost individuals are reunited with their loved ones.
In conjunction with public safety agencies our volunteer non-profit organization, Western Maryland K-9 Search and Rescue, Inc., uses the powerful skills of air-scent dogs and their handlers to locate and return missing loved ones. We work day and night, 365 days a year, in all weather and terrain to find missing people and reunite families.
As a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we need your help to remain operational and share our valuable safety messages and search and rescue resources. Insurance costs make up a large part of our operating fees, and we are asking for a monetary donation to reach those goals. Additionally, we must purchase GPS software and units to track our dogs, who are in turn tracking your loved ones. Our goal – educate and reunite families!
